Remote Engineering — six service lines

Each line is delivered remotely by priority, following a common mechanism: field execution is delegated to the client's teams, verifications are confirmed by the client's responsible person on site — video call, photos, readings, answers to my questions — on which basis I review, validate and decide.

The remote framework — an established process

Remote Engineering does not improvise: it relies on a standardised and proven communication and connection framework — defined channels, hold points, field reporting formats (video call, photos, readings), validation circuit and decision traceability. This framework is presented to the client from the first exchange, diagram included; an initial brief then aligns it with the client's own practices, criteria and formats.

1

E&I Commissioning — core practice

~80% remote

Electrical & instrumentation commissioning, cold to hot: I/O testing, equipment verification and start-up, parameter control, supervision feedback checks, process utilities energisation. Protocol-driven — inherited from regulated environments, applied to all sectors.

2

Owner's Engineering / AMO

~90% remote

Owner-side engineering assistance: defending the client's interests against contractors and integrators. Having worked on both sides of the table — contractor side and end client side, sometimes on the same project — and having run my own electrical company, I understand natively the interface challenges, including their entrepreneurial dimension.

3

E&I Technical Audits

~80% remote

Assessment of installations, technical documentation and compliance. Factual, prioritised, actionable reporting.

4

E&I Coordination & Steering

~95% remote

Multi-party coordination, discipline interface management, technical scheduling. Coordination work is by nature documentary and decisional — it is managed remotely with full effectiveness.

5

Technical Review & Verification

100% remote

Control of specifications, drawings, documentation and deliverables: technical specifications, tender documents, contractor documentation, commissioning dossiers. Fully achievable remotely, following the client's document templates and formats.

6

Works Supervision / Inspection

~75% remote

Remote supervision of E&I works: hold points, directed verifications, stage validations — confirmed by the client's site representative. Targeted on-site presence when the nature of the work, the client or the context justifies it.

Fixed-price or time-and-materials engagements, quoted by scope.
